great news

i would count on everything but CnC, and scenario

im thinking CnC would be finalized in the patch, and scenario in .9

(this is 100% my speculation)

That's awesome work!

will AASv2 still be available as an option? though i can obviously imagine that AASv3 will be more popular (and rightly so!)

also its brilliant that the insurgents have some form of structure to make like the other factions.

0.8 will defiantly look alot different to 0.75 let alone vBF2!

awsome work guys!!! that new random flag thing in aas3 and CnC mode seems so cool...

btw...going from the "demonstrating aas3"-image it seems theres a new map there afai can see is build up by an island with a missile base and airport and about 4/5 of the map is water (and a carrier of some sort i assume). And one fun thing is that roughly a week ago i was thinking how cool it would be if there was a pr map consisting of just an amfibious assault towards a chinese island with a missile base and an airport...thats...pretty badass :P

Whoa that sounds sweet :shock:
That training mode will be a good alternative for the guys that want a real material battle from time to time :D Even though I would be able to place me some vehicles, thank you for making this available and playable with more than one guy on the home server :D

NOOOOOOO!!! No more random rally points? Now we will have to be organized when playing insurgents... Damn. It all used to be so easy... Now my beloved freedom fighters will loose one of their biggest advantages..

Awesome! But how will Insurgents be be able to deploy hideouts? Like Rally points? And will it be squad only or for the whole team?

Well i think they mentioned they are like firebases, so im assuming its the whole team and will be deployed in the same (sort of) vashion :wink:

Man, the insugent bunker (hideout) is just a bad idea, which is reflected by its look. This will require the insurgents to be organized and to conventional. The whole reason I liked the game mode was because of how different insurgent side was. But maybe im wrong, but from images im seeing in my head, it seems like its gonna play bad. Other then that, all the other game modes look sweet.
