It completely unrealistic that US goes against china to. None of the countries would want it because it will only lead the earth to a atomic wasteland. So as long as the map is good keep it coming.

But I wouldnt say that Russia and Norway would and should have a close relationship to russia. As a russian soldier said they had always looked at Norway as friends. This was said in a documentary about a more secret thing that happened under a NATO traning in Norway and Russia threathened with war and rolled up alot of tanks/infantery against 500 Borderguards/jeagers.

The teacher I had in 8th to 10th grade was borderpatrol when that happened

Not a secret, the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968, and the situation at the border is/was a somewhat good known thing. My dad was artillery observer during service during these events. (because of the invasion of Czechoslovakia) They all thought WW3 was coming...

These border guards were nothing but cannon-fodder, stationed there to slow the Russians down, until NATO could respond. The real "border", Norway wanted to defend laid miles to the west, besides almost all of the border troops where "expendable locals" (not quite true ).

True. They estimated a loss around 400 of the 500 stationed there.
