Maybe if you elaborate a little more the community here can help you out, can you possibly know what might cause this crash? you do something specific before it crashes? ( example: enter the APC/Heli/ heal someone, drop repair station etc.. ) what error code does it show to you?

I think not. Only Reshade with SweetFX 2.0 working on the BattleField 2/2142.

It does, you just need to download a different .txt file in order for it to work, so basically anything pre 4.0 wont work, and anything made after 4.0 does work

It's the launcher's makeshift anticheat. Also interferes with some recording software

I would add to OP that in order to use enhancement mods such as this with PR, a fast enough CPU is necessary, else it will bog down the system. Maybe more can be said for multicore CPU but I'm not sure if this enhancment mod exploits those by utilizing unused cores. From my experience with FXAA tool, which in itself is also a enhancment app, with a myriad of post processing / shader effects, it slowed down a dual core system by 20fps atleast .

Hello all! I have been working on a revamped and improved version of this Reshade for my own mod, Heat of Battle. The most recent version has been updated to Reshade 4.0 and uses the base LUT by SAM609 with a boatload of new effects, including Ambient Lighting, MXAO, and Reflective Bumpmapping. Here are some of the results:

Comparison and gameplay video:

You can download it here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/heat-of-batt ... reshade-20

Hope you guys like it!

I expect that its going to be probably a ***** to run on non-high end hardware as usual when graphics pushed at level that the game engine nor API were designed for like DirectX 9.

Yo! Very nicely done man.
Checking out the mods subsection on moddb:

What files of those listed should I download and in what order to make it run with PR as it is now (if possible) cheers.

Reshade does not work with the current version anymore. if you have it installed, the game will crash.

That's a shame. I'm assuming this won't be fixed anytime soon?

It needs to be fixed on reshade side. PRBF2.exe now uses d3dx9_43.dll, so it probably needs to be changed to that.

Install reshade straight from their website and use the preset from this thread.
