But 9 0f 10 soldiers in the Candaian Forces in PR are black, i don't doubt that there is black canadians in their army but it seems a bit weird that they would have more black soldiers then the US

Ye we most likley need to look more thoroughly at what each spawn selection has what solider so we can make the more common kits like rifleman spawn with the most common type of guy and then have the least common spawning kits like breacher, rifleman AT etc spawn with not so common type of guy

Whatever happened to Sandin? I was just watching a PR montage and saw some of the Sandin footage and realized I had totally forgotten about it.

No because we don't use content from other companies, besides VBF2 assets, which isn't a problem. Would be a problem if we for instance take BF2142 assets and port into VBF2. Anyways when we can't make our own assets, we trade with other mods and give credit, or we ask and give credit. Simple as that, if they say no then it doesn't go ingame.

That was part of Mosquill's testing for a weather system long time ago
I think the basic idea was to only let time pass a few hours(otherwise you get issues with static shadows of the lightmaps not matching the sun's direction).
But a day/night system was never the plan as far as I know. I doubt anyone is working on it now. Can't see much use for it in 1.1.

BF2 engine allows a day/night cycle only locally. Not even sure if he used 2142 for that test back then.

Would it be possible to have ranks ingame matching the ones on the forum? So the ranks can be seen in scoreboard and on your shirt.

Possibly on the scoreboard with a sh*t load of coding but on your player model, no chance and at the end of the day we have far better things to be working on hehe
