That is not what he asked ;)

Plus, the Resolution is the thing limited on here, so even though the .png is 1680 x 1050 and so is the jpeg, they will both be wrong as per the forum rules ;)

So you do as Gazz says :p
Plus, he didnt specifically ask about it for here, he was just asking in general I think :)

@ Rezza, that is some pretty good skills right there :)

Here's one out of my debug sessions, maybe something can still be done with the two EF2000s? :D

The BF2 debugger disables anti aliasing, thats why theres pixelz involved.

It was 7am and i was really drunk when I replied, but put the image quality up to max on a .jpeg, it's not noticeable on most pictures if it's a .jpg or a .png, so .jpegs are fine IMO.

if you want a transparent background then .png

.png is probably best to use all the time actually Scot.
Here are some I made quite a while ago, first two are pictures for the bigD Campaign, and the third is one of the banners for the bigD website. I made them with Paint Shop Pro X2 because it was all I had, now that I have Photoshop CS4 I might be able to cook some more stuff up.

DONT SHOW OFF PNG'S. USE A JPEG. IF SOMEONE WANTS A PNG BETTER QUALITY, SEND IT TO THEM VIA EMAIL OR SOMETHING. BUT DON'T EMBED PNG'S They look great though...

Not bad at all. The first one is quite good. I see you've used the plastic effect in PS?

Not the plastic effects, but simple darkening and lightening, sharpening and smoothing, contrasting etc. You could say they were all experimental :-P
