Re: Al Basrah
need better UK teamwork in al Basrah. it is often hard for me to find a Brit squad with a SL, let alone a rally point.

Problem I find when on British side is even when you have a good squad it's the only one a lot of the time and they simply end up getting swarned by too many insurgents as everyone else is scattered around the map (at best, most likely they will be back in the main or if there's a firebase in VCP, they'll stay there with HATs).
EDIT: As for the insurgent bridge problem from the palace, what you can actually when on insurgent side is blow 2 holes on the western side of the most western bridge. Basically you'll fall but you will land on solid ground and you won't even be smoking after the jump. With any lucky Brits who pass the bridge hoping to blow will see the holes and simply move onto other bridges.

Yeah, that thing does work, unless the CR2 comes and wants to blow up the entire bridge.
You'd also need a civi at that bridge to wrench all the vehicles that fall off though, unless you want everyone to blow up as they drive away.

Re: Al Basrah
there is no tactics before battle, there is commander to change tactics behalf other squads position.
if comander is good he will send them together to attack caches from all possible direction.
Problem is when squads or player walking around map probably alone and get killed, or even better i saw armour driving up and down trought city and killing ins. with 60 kills and 8 death. but this is funny couse we lose around 80 points for destroyed armour when ins. are not loosing.
I prefer team play, and i hate moonwalking around the map unless is a sniper squad.
And there is another problem at the start, everybody is running to the vihicle and ride into city blindless, then kaboom and they are down. It will be better if humveys and APC , armours leave together and destroy anything on the way. like this:
APC cover front, 1 hum. left, another right and 2nd APC back for possible car bomb, when they find or spot the enemy the squads they unload, except drivers and gunners. Infantry position around the transport like diamond (with LMG on the left and right side, others stay in cover behind the transport) then they should advance slowly with support of the havy machine fire.
Solute
APC or bradley, rover or hummvee, its the same.
