First of all, you need to understand that i am a IT-pro, projet manager in F-secure. This is what i do for living! I "kind" of know how these things are to be done, at leat the theoretical way.....

Second, i am drunk, not so very but much....Perhaps i should be involved with the PB, because i really do know some of this shit.

Third, i think the 0.7 didnt come easy, you put your mind and heart to it, never even deny that!! You are doing A GREAT job with PR, but the hole release thing is fucked up. Comp. to 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 and 0.613.

The way you treat you "customers" is really fuckd up. I mean really. You guys have literally months do this right and you still fuckd things up. A sensible pm to a Dev would have been a better solution.

Many of the Devs on here are involved in the IT world, and are of a mature age aswell, its not as if we are a bunch of teenagers you know?

DLing now and I'll seed this for a couple months as with all releases. Where the changes in the news intentionally ambiguous? "Changes have been made, you should like them"

When downloading large files they are very likely to get corrupted. The files themselfs have been tested and are working, hence the delay for the release etc. Best way to not get a corrupted download is to download via a torrent.

Yeah but I don't wan't to do that so I'll DL it from the Links borvided thanks. BTW I don't hate Germans, I just know from the Laws they have there that alot of the sites baised out of it wther offical or not tend to have hackers on them. It's not raceism. I just don't like DLing from Germany becuse the last few places I DLed from those locations I got bad corrupted files, and one time I got a virus.

Jesus Christ, people, USE THE TORRENTS! It's almost 2008 in most of the world, learn how to use torrent programs.

The torrent downloads work 100& and are very fast!

Also, continue seeding after you've finished downloading, that way everybody gets to download it faster and you will get more players to play with sooner!

Quit bitching and learn how to use torrent download programs like utorrent - I and most people I know downloaded both files at 1 megabyte(not megabit!) per second.

EDIT: and yea peeps, as it has been said several times now - just use the torrent, it's very easy. my internet connection sucks but the torrent took just around an hour to download the files, no problems with corrupted files at all!

Gunwing, you're a muppet. Downloading via torrent will, for the purpose of obtaining the two necessary PR 0.7 files, connect you with people downloading PR around the world. They are seeding while you start your download, and after a while you are seeding back to them. You are not downloading from "ze Germans", you are downloading from probably two dozen countries.

And again, I'm very disappointed in some people who visit this forum just to ***** and whine, when really it's their own fault they cannot download the game.

maybe try google.. i don't know too much about this stuff as well but maybe you need some port forwarding? that could drop your download rate dramatically!

yea you need both, core files for the mod itself (coding, vehicles, kits, weapons etc..) and the level files, well, for the levels (maps) itself.
