I once saw an APC on Fallujah while standing on the roof of a building with a cache. He was driving really close to the building, so I figured I'd drop an IED on him and blow him him.

I take out the IED, run to the edge of the roof and click to drop it. Now, I'm all nervous because there's an APC down there, so I click one too many times... I end up blowing myself up. On top of that, I end up actually blowing the cache below up.

I remember saying something along the lines of "Wait, did I just blow our cache up?" over voicechat to my squad.

Grenades are fiddly at times, especially when the animation lags and you end up just dropping it and your whole squad die in a big gooey mess.

It was in 0.75 on Qwai River IIRC. I was in a squad and SL asked:
- Can anyone fly littlebird?
- I can.- I replied.
So we were of. I took my SQ to the Mine as i was told to.We took the flag and then SL ordered to go to the Fishing Village.We're of again.I'm flying very close to the water when my SL says:
- Maybe you shouldn't fly so close to the water?
- Don't worry,i know what i'm doing. (That's what i told to him )
And as i was about to slow down to take my aproach to drop off the troops into the water,i got the "Your connection has been interrupted" message.It was gone after about 4-5 seconds,and the first thing i saw and heard was Black screan with the message saying "You are dead" and my SL saying:
- Oh so you know what you are doing...

I was so embarrassed ops: OFC they understood me when i told it was my internet problem Needless to say i didn't fly LB for the whole round

HAHA i just remembered a time on Kashan when i was hunkered down in the little hut in the middle of nowhere with my squaddie and one other member, and we were being camped inside the building by an apc, and i went to lob a grenade out the window at the apc and it bounced off the sill and wasted to squad.

you threw a nade at an apc? maybe it wasn't kashan but karakand, and BF2 not PR

worth doing that than waiting to be heat round to death.

Think that only applies before its shooting you

I was playing on Muttrah City and it was the beginning of the round. I got to be a Huey pilot and loaded up an entire squad into my chopper. At this point I just discovered that holding down the Ctrl button lets you look around. (It also disables your piloting) So I was about to touch down into Muttrah and decided to hold the Ctrl to have a looksies and next thing you know my Huey just dove down straight into the water. I got chewed out by the squad inside the Huey and teased by the MEC.

"Oh Ctrl button...*press* Oh Shi---!"
Squad Members "NOOB PILOT NOOB! YOU KILLED US!!"

MEC- "Haha nice flying."

For the longest time, I thought you aimed with the little black line on the SRAW. You can imagine how many firebases and tanks I've missed.

Last night, second time I played PR, just about figuired out the basics, apart from when I killed 3 civilians and got butt raped on voip.

Every now and then, I find myself flying an asset and trying to type.
This is no biggie, but when you lag whilst trying to press J, K or L to initiate text, the text bar wont appear.

....Considering that E is a very frequent letter, you might find yourself looking into your own cockpit, from the outside, before plummeting to earth.

I've done this at least 5 times in 4 hours.

On day on Kashan, I had gotten into a blackhawk and made a helicopter squad. So me and this other pilot (who was really good) flew in formation. The commander had us to go pick up two full squads. So we both land, pick them up, and they all say thanks and everything. So I move to the commanders move marker and we started moving in a circle. We kept flying in a tight circle behind the hills until the AA the the commander was working on was taken down. By now the Squads we picked up were wondering why we were talking so long. So the commander says we could go. "....Considering that E is a very frequent letter, you might find yourself looking into your own cockpit, from the outside, before plummeting to earth."
So I goo to hit W and I hit E and I just see the helicopter door and then I die and it goes black. Then I hear my helicopter explode. Then it turns out that my other pilot was a little to close behind me.

I suffered some "connection issues" after this.
I went on the training server for about a hour after this so as to not do it again.

On Muttrah im piloting the huey, transport was needed at docks so i head off the carrier come in land right next to the fb thinkin wat a perfect landing......... boom xxxxx[teamkils]Wispit turns out i landed right on top of a friendly mine which was marked to :s boy did i feel like a good pilot lol.

On Al basrah i was on the insurgent team and spawned by one of the bridges with a cashe next to it, i then went and put an IED on the bridge to blow it up, when i detonated it the bridge went boom, the cashe went boom and i got shot as a traitor and get moaned at for being a muppet.

on kashan first time i fly the Mig, take off and shoot down the a-10...as i land the infantry at base starting shooting at me, and right beofre i could type,WTF, an abrams drives and wastes me....i landed at the wrong base

I Waited on the runway all ready to go. Then freaked out and crashed

Was flying a perfect round on Operation Barracuda. Had 5 kills from landing on Chinese and was still on my first chopper. The team was working on the last flag before Silo and I saw a clan mate hanging out at the north edge of the airstrip. I fly over to him and ask if he wanted a ride, then I land and suddenly detonate. =]H[= Operator [Teamkills] =]H[= ElvishKnight. I landed on his marked minefeild, the ground was covered with them.

I was playing on kozelsk with a full squad and packing the marksman kit. I got a bit seperated from the squad and was looking for enemies when I yelled "Enemy Contact 300!" then proceeded to snipe 3 of our own squad members with an SVD before i heard "WTF ARE YOU DOING!!??." Needless to say i was promptly kicked and decided to take a 1 day sojourn from PR
