Yea, I didn't finish reading the whole post :D

To be honest, it would be nice to have something in the US for people to enjoy? I mean in reality you want feedback on your map right? Then why not let people play on it with a good ping?

I've taken the server down. Sorry guys.

Have you tried joining the server Dapriest, or any others in the UK?

Whilst you might have ping issues with servers on 'mainland' Europe, you may well find those in the UK quite decent, particularly with server providers who have decent connectivity and peering (such as ours). Try it :)

Cough Cough I will be hopefully playing it hours on end Cough, If i can get into a match if not ill be playing a local LAN match by myself as I do a lot to make sure I know the maps well enough to play them online with other tactical players, also will be seeing what the map could use or if it is good to go.

But till then keep up the good work [R-Dev] Rhino and other Map helpers cant wait to see what the map has to offer. I will be on the forums like a little school girl until I see the real Map download until then Happy Gaming.

The ping across the pond is killing some North American players but that has nothing to do with the map so.....

Excellent work so far I must say. Most maps in .85 are now boring for most and I always welcome new maps!

Well, here's my report.

The map's the most realistic thing, eva! The british have had some trouble getting their act together, though. I seem to blame the nubs when you see an A-10 come crashing down. When ever will they learn

The assets are pretty overpowered, though. The harrier's awesome now with it's controls though. Though, I hope you don't tune them down for the release. It's quite a nice drive when you're in a wheeled vehicle, too. Though sometimes I get the slight impression that the LODs are a bit too low.

Now, to the biggest attraction...

OMG, A CHINOOK!!!

It's just pure sex. The model is simply amazing, I can't believe you included it :D Though, I must say, it's flight mechanics can be a slight hassle. Getting it off the ground takes a whole lotta practice, imo. Though, I can happily say that I haven't once flipped it :D

The Apache never seems to be there when you want it to be, though. Sometimes you'll see a cache, and you'll ask for CAS, but f course the pilots never seem to listen :|

But, the ambient sound is probably the best thing you'll get out of this map. It's soooo realistic, it's stuff you might hear in real life, even.

But please, do something about the british main. I know it's a WIP, but it just seems a bit too open for me. Maybe it's just the Taliban players who like Baserapping, or the fact that many cahces spawn quite close to it, but they always seem to be able to get a shot inside every match :(

BTW, I think everybody here would happily have this map over any others. After playing this, I can reasonably say that we don't need to bother with including any of the other space-consuming maps, when we could just have a whole slew of 24/7 servers running this :D

Uhhhh.... WIP or not the Harrier needs less contraints on the flight envelope. Not realistic IMHO but hey, just a game. And a beta.

Pffff... and they say this mods more realistic.

Project Reality only needs this map. Lets cut away the rest and only focus on this. I mean it.

120-160 ping from 5 different machines located in seattle, austin, dallas, vancouver canada, toronto canada. I'm just saying, it would be nice to have one in north america.

Fun map so far.
