IRL M82 was used against infantry much more often. When watching YouTube.
So, whats the difference between M82 and others ingame? Will it be able to take down LittleBirds or Hummer?

If no, its just another sniper rifle, but semi-auto.

if a littlebird or hummer is standing still the only thing you will be able to do is killing teh pilot/driver.. you cant spam the same number of bullets needed like the M2 to kill the vehicle it self :p and if you did it would take some mins, and you had wasted all the ammo;p

Giving us only 1 would be discrimination, so it will be like other bluefor factions, two per team if its over a certain number of players.

Its up to a coder to work out the bullet drop, but I thik its droping like the M2 Brwoning now..

I am not like super happy about the 50 cal more as a tard symbol then a gamebreaker, but it will not ruin any balance it will not take less bullets to kill 1hit kill on all snipers atleast the blufor, you get a louder bang thats all how many will be able to shoot through the glass on a moving vehicle? And as pleym said the noob who drives the LB or car that gets taken down by a 50 sniper because the helicopter gets taken down by a singel bullet shouldnt be allowed to play.

On the other hand this faction will only have F16 as a CAS there is no attack helis for example. Some of the cars and APC's will be fitted with MG3 and not the M2 as well I guess from a realistic point some are fitted with MG3 instead of 50 cal. There is for now no shield on the machine gunners ontop of the cars and apc's either atleast they are not fitted with it yet, though I know in Real life this has been ordered. Dont know what Pleym and his team will do.

also, as a drawback, will the bullet drop be high for the .50?
bullet drop should be the same for every weapon as it is determined by G (acceration due to gravity, 9.81 m/s) therefor all bullets should hit the ground at ruffly the same time. the .50 round being slightly largest will have less bullet drop due to having more air resistance but that is it.

It's also dependant on the weight of the projectile, and if my mind isn't playing tricks the speed have something to say as well.

What's all that "M82 will be overpowered"?

Jeez...

There is a maximum of TWO snipers per team which are mostly noobish guys running around solo and loosing the kit.

Also: Snipers don't win fights. They might be annoying, yes, but there main weapon is a good comm with the team and their binoc. So you might have to use some more smoke and epipens, but overall that one rifle won't make such a difference I guess.

The M82 won't change the balance, it will kill just as any other sniper rifle. Its not like it will take out whole squads with one round...

PR already has an array of impressive and sophisticated weaponry, a lot of which has far greater impact.

Rudd was joking, responding to spaz saying how if they all stood in a line the round would kill them all (which it wouldnt in game, but as i said twas a joke)
