Not player controlled, I think we already have both the nebels and 105 howitzers in game already on Carentan for area attacks and they were present on certain layers during the last playtest (similar to vanilla BF2).CaptMiller wrote:Accidently found this video so will we really have nebelwerfer ??

Is there any chance you guys could add Russian and British factions on some maps as a alternative layout?
Many of the weapons used by Russia and England in World War II are already in the game also voice acting can be re-used
Surely a lot is missing yet, but it would be pretty cool.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
I actually have some new stuff I was going to share with them soon. We just got our pps43 animated, and a new Bren MK.1 as well as some other things. But yes they have some things already for Ostfront, though not all needed with good animations just yet.
I just think their full focus now is just on US and Germany. If other factions come later it is because they have player models and more weapons and vehicles available, some of which BFK is going to be eventually getting for British like a Cromwell which I was going to share as I got it finished just in case they plan on other factions.

You're getting a Cromwell tank? How cool is that .
We could quite well pull off a Soviet faction. We have plenty of weapons available to come up with something decent. But before we go into that, we should focus on finishing what we already have, which are the US and Germans.
Obviously I'd love to have the British in PR:WW2 as well, but same thing again. We do have weapons for the British, but we would still lack crucial stuff like kit geometries and AT weapons. Regarding vehicles, we could use the jeep, Shermand and M3 Halftrack, but it wouldn't be the Brits without the Bren Carrier, hehe.
So for now, US and GER only, but who knows what the future holds.

They made two of those and only used them on the Eastern Front.

That's why there has to be a FAQ sticky or something that answers all the basic questions for people to stop spamming!HellRanger2558 wrote:WW2 forum is a nutshell:

Nobody's going to maintain such a FAQ and people won't read it anyway .

If you want to stop these kind of questions, simply release the game.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Yeah, if everything goes according to plan we will. General_Bradly from IDF mod and I have been collaborating and brainstorming a lot lately. They plan on having british stuff for the 1956 Suez Crisis, so I asked him if he could get a head start on some of the british stuff and share with us.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:You're getting a Cromwell tank? He will have a Bren Carrier as that is one thing we would also use in Korea, since WW2 era stuff was used til mid 50's by them.
He is also going to start working on our Sikorsky H-19/S55 Whirlwind.
For Russian stuff you got full access to the Battlegroup Frontlines stuff too I suppose since you guys use some assets from that in PR:WW2 if I am not mistaken. We will also be using some of those maps in an upcoming build of our mod.
For new stuff WW2 era related, we got lots more stuff coming, hopefully a new GMC CCKW.
PR would also be getting this too. IDF is going to be exporting that, and as you know they like to share stuff with you guys too since you share so much with us it is the least our mods could do to give back.
But yeah, the Bren we got would obviously be available to you guys too if you ever add British.
Weapon shine and texture darkness has been fixed as of now.
Also, how would you guys like a new BAR?
Same story here with texture darkness and shine. Both fixed now. We are trying to have it adapted to the original BAR model animations of ours you animated after we gave you our old assets you used in WW2.
Also trying to get our handheld m1919a6 animated as well too which you guys will also get to use until we or you can find somebody to animate your m1919.
