Yeah that M35 from EOD just ain't cutting it for us either. However, M35 was just really starting to be used in Korea in limited numbers, but they still used the CCKW more often.
Anyway, that is just the tip of the iceberg, we got more stuff coming we are excited to share.

That CCKW would be a very welcome thing as well . Model looks great .
Regarding the M1919A6, perhaps we should check what model is 'best' and go with that one. Because we have the model, but no animator.
What does your BAR look like? Currently not looking for a new model, but always open for improvements .

How will the new damage system affect the weapons in PR:WWII?

Yeah I took some pictures of the updated more optimized model and fixed textures.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:What does your BAR look like? Currently not looking for a new model, but always open for improvements .
The one you guys use now our old dev Zefan made around 2005-06. It was one of the first models they worked on and it was before he started really getting good at model making and perfected his art. I always thought the BAR showed it's age compared to other things like the M1 Garand, as that was one of the later models that he did. I am trying to get a guy to adapt it to your current animations the BAR uses, which would work out perfect, but finding animators now is a royal pain in the ***...
As you can see the detail is really great and we had the textures lightened up a lot more to bring out the finer details.

Looks awesome anthony.
But the real question is does it have an ejection port this time?

In that case, do want!
Yeah, if it's exported in the same size and 'settings', the animations should work just fine. Would take more of an exporter than an animator, I guess.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Well, here is the thing about this weapon. The guy who exported it for us did something I asked him not to, and now he doesn't want to fix it or have the time. So he exported it to use the old animations the very old FH2 BAR used, and I mean the like 2009 version or something. Anyway, I have been trying my damnedest this past week to see if anybody can fix this for us, or work their magic and make the same animations work with this.
I will send it over to you if you think somebody on the team can do that for it? I know you guys had that done a few times when you updated to newer HD models when you replaced our M1 Carbine and M3 Greasegun as well as Thompson. So if you guys have somebody who could do that right away you can have it now to see if you can get it in the next release.
Let me know. It is quite arcade right now and there is no bipod animation which saddens me to no end, but I will send it over if you know somebody who could do that.

If you have the export scene (as well as the textures and stuff), I'll try to find us someone who could fix it.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Really? But I don't know how you can think that. Is it the way the sight is made on our new one or something? The old BAR PR uses BFKorea original devs made is from like 2005-06, so no where near as detailed as our new one is.
I mean side by side it is unmistakable which version is the more detailed. Also, the sights can also be adjusted. That aperture sight slider can move up and down, so maybe in PR you can make it have the range adjusted exactly like how many other weapons are.
Also, look at the top picture, the thumb screw on the side is very low polygon. Additionally, if you think the textures are not as good quality it is always easy for a good texture artist to give it more detail.
I respect your opinion but that is just my 2 cents.
Maybe the guy who redid the texture on the BAR in game now could do the new one we sent to AD?

It's how you use your bar that matters.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Asked this awhile back but didn't get a solid answer:Will the new-ish armor changes affect WW2 project like Shermans having to flank tigers and the E2 Jumbo eating 90mm shells for breakfast?Just asking I know you guys are still busy and haven't finished everything yet so I understand if you haven't even thought about this lol.
