Would it be possible to add external seats for inf to ride tanks? Like 3-4 sitting on the front or top of the tank, giving them view so that they can look round the tank in case of inf in the bushes?
Tanks helping the infantry in WW2 will be critical in this MOD, remember carrenien, west bank bridge, the 88 can hold the inf off for a long time without tank support.
And the gameplay I think will be more support based in these maps due to slower rates of fire and choke points.
Tank drivers will need to change the way they play in this MOD, and having seats on the tanks can make it easier for inf to betaken to the next objective, but also adds the Emerson, like on Omaha beach.

Tanks have to remember to support infantry, especially the Shermans...
If I remember correctly there are possible max 8 seats for vehicle. Right now tank have 3 seats - driver, gunner and mg gunner so there are 5 seats left and reasonable choice is put them on the back.

Might not be that easy as then you could immidiately switch between being inside and outside, which would be very stupid.
4 seats in bnak of tank would solve many infantry transportation issues, particularly in carentan.
there's only 1 halftrack and 1 jeep if I recall, two shermans one greyhound, two logis and two troop trans.
but many of those troop trans vehicles get stuck, and usualyl theres 1 or 2 squads which get NO vehicles at all and are sent to cap the closest point.
if we had slots on back of tank we could transport those missing squads ,especially in the middle of the game where the trucks or apcs awlays get stuck or immobilized in the ditches at the side of roads, rivers, etc.
No! If WWII mod will be standalone I'm 100% will be empty or not that much populated how PR is right now. Same with new map package for PR. How many people download it? Exactly. This should be part of PR, not add-on.
