Have you ever thought how Project Reality with only one life per player would look like? More realistic behavior of the players, fear of dying, and the new level of teamplay! Or maybe a catastrophe and people hidden in corners afraid of their lives?

You can check it out by yourself now. PRTA is proud to present to you one life event.

This means that during this event anyone who will die will be removed from server and won't be able to play on server till the next round.

The rounds will be heavy admined to ensure minimum griefing. Any troublemakers will be treated harsher than usually. Please do not spoil fun of others! On each side there will be one admin not playing to deal smoothly with offenses and help people.

We are accepting commanders that will take the responsibility of leading troops. We encourage commanding from main outpost (to not get killed) to ensure continuity of team plan when dead people will be removed from server and also to help admins.

Commanders has to be obeyed, but that not necessarily means that they need some kind of strong battleplan. Coordinating and helping is enough.
Any commander that will properly do his job will be awarded a reserved slot on PRTA main server for 2 weeks!

Mumble will be obviously enforced so make sure you have it set up properly, as there will be only one warning. Reminder: mumble ip has changed to mumble.realitymod.com. And make sure your microphone is working properly. Do not ask about mumble teams when you're not linked because some people don't like that.
Note: This is basically a test event to see how players will handle this change and how gameplay will look like. Please do not expect miracles here, it may consist a small dose of failure.
Wounded time has been tweaked because of that: 10 minutes instead of 5. And briefing time will last 5 minutes.
We appreciate any feedback and criticism after event to improve further ones.

It will be interesting to see how it turns out, though, as the endgame might play out with non but a few living soldiers left on the battlefield. Am I right? Looking forward to experiencing this (most likely) EPIC event.

Yes, I think "safe landing zone" will have a proper feel now.

All it requires is one lagspike (or a failpilot) and a lot of rage will be present.
