So a while ago i read this novel.

Matterhorn - A Novel of the Vietnam War - By Karl Marlantes - Review - NYTimes.com

i posted it in a thread a while ago but it didn't seem like anyone was checking it anymore. If any of the people working on PR:V get a chance to read this book i don't think you would be disappointed. it has a lot of good information about the Vietnam war, and its also one of my favorite books Ive ever read. It has a huge Vietnam slang dictionary in the back and an area map in the front.

Most importantly it explains what kind of hell they all went through, in graphic detail. I mean a lot of people think they know how bad it was until they read something like this. I was pretty shocked.

thanks for reading 8)

EDIT: i don't think i really got my point across why i was suggesting this, i think it would be a helpful tool for developing the mod. I don't know if you guys were planning voice acting or what not for the PR:V but like i said there's a huge Vietnam slang dictionary and it describes pretty well how they talk in the novel. Again thanks for reading

i have a few suggestions for PR: V, well i think that all teams should have the options to fix their bayonets or just hold their knife as a melee weapon. I was about to suggest Huey door gunners but im pretty sure you guys will already have that. I also think that you guys should add flamethrowers and/or radio operators to "up" the realism. And i have your Pr: Normandy and i must say that is outstanding.
