Interesting topic. This will require some thinking.

First, the 0.8 trailer. The best recent trailer imo, because it has some sort of 'story' to it, with ambushes and firefights that somehow have some continuity.

Then, I found this to be a nice example of what PR can be like:

Followed by some lighthearted fun with the taliban climbing video, to show that PR is a game where you can do random fun stuff as well:

And then some sort of tutorial video. There's many good tutorials for single aspects of the game, but that'd be more than the five video limit of course. Since I always wanted a video that explained the basics, I simply went and made one. Quality of the video and audio is quite low, of course, but it should cover most basics to get people started instantly:

I think my remix video is pretty good. I tried to show the scope of the mod with all the different factions, maps, vehicles, weapons, etc. Also, if you notice, almost all scenes I'm not working alone, showing the teamwork and communications aspects of the mod. And the epic ending is all kinds of awesome

Interesting thread, ive thought about it alot too. I have considered doing a vid at some point, but i never got around to it.
The thing is, PR is a very complex game and i think its very hard for outsiders to really grasp everything thats going in it. Olso, the facts that its a Mod, i think make people more sceptical when they whey first hear about it. Really, PR is just too good to be true!
Here is what i think the perfect PR promotion vid should include:
-Teamwork. Inf working together and calling in CAS.
-Communication. Voip, local mumble and SL mumble
-Destructibility
-Deployable assets
-The huge weapon/faction/map content and variaty.

No, quite frankly, I have no idea. I can't see it through the eyes of a newb, especially not through the eyes of an average newb. I think when I was a newb I would've wanted to know how everything works exactly and would have wanted some elaborate, long, actual 1st person gameplay footage, especially infantry. But that's personal preferences, it's hard to say what the majority would want to see.
