Heads up!

Tiger Platoon are now looking to recruit potential pilots. CAS training and course will begin late Jan/Feb depending on if the coursework and flight manuals are completed on time. All potential candidates will have to receive full basic infantry training first and foremost. Tiger Platoon recruits are trained by Platoon staff who consist of former military and currently serving members. The Tiger Platoon puts an emphasis on teamwork and dedication with twice weekly gatherings and training sessions to ensure the quality of the teams performance is maintained and upheld.

The Tiger Platoon is an invite only group. However, we are set to expand into CAS. So potential pilots are welcome to put their names down. You do not need to be an expert in PR aviation to join. I am personally looking for pilots with an interest in PR flying and the dedication to learn and practice to hone there skills to become a better pilot. If you're looking for a group that is great fun to hang out with and serious in teamwork and tactical gaming, look no further than the Tigers.

Kinda meh when you see the minimap 99% of the time.

Your missing the point of the movie L4gi. Yet it is a detail you pointed out, point taken. I'll somehow attempt to get rid of the mini-map if we were to make a new promotional video in the future.

I the movie would be filmed using 1st person footage, it wouldnt be bad, but since its filmed from a 3p perspective, it looks very out of place. You could try using Battlerecorder in the future, it doesnt show the minimap and allows for all the same possibilities as PRBot.

Battlerecorder is not enabled on the server at the moment.

If you press 2 or F2 (can't remember which) when in a PRBot I think you get rid of all HUD elements. Fairly sure of it.


In regards of the actual promotional video itself I have to say it would be more interesting to see you guys playing real games and how communication and stuff works when shit hits the fan.

Thanks for the heads up on the HUD elements. Getting people's attention on the video was our goal. If the video caught someones interest and they want to find out how we communicate and operate in a real game, enlisting and receiving the training is the way to do so.
