128 server, Burning sands and Fools Road

I had recently gone home from work, then spent 4 hours helping a friend move to a new place and just made my wife some food. I was dead tired, but i wanted to play PR.

After sorting out some PRTA stuff, i loaded up into the 128 server.

Burning Sands
A fight with the British as the MEC i had wilfully told my team to focus on the flags and building fobs, to that extent we were able to cap out the enemy quite successfully. But our armor and air was completly taken out, and we had to rely on mortars. Still with all our assets taken out the enemy did not attack us, and was making a big mistake. Our infantry flanked the last VCP from two flanks and a large firefight with armor, ATs Air mortars and god knows what else erupted. Enemy infantry caught in the open was engaged and eliminated. And our Mortar rounds hit very well.

After some time the Commander qs-racer was able to call in an area attack on VCP. My squad with a few blue men charged the now 400 m distant target as artillery shells and mortar rounds hit the british forces infront of us. We quickly got into machinegun fire from several directions and i orderd my squad to throw smoke. To no use. The enemy had thermals and one after one my squad died. The last one alive, myself was taken out by an enemy mortar round.

After regrouping we had a quick chat with the CO, and decided to go NW by W to hold the line there. We were about to leave the flag area, when a lynx flies over us. A friendly MTLB TOW veichle chases it and quickly eliminates it after the lynx landed, although some enemies still excists and i shoot a retreating Medic as he tries to heal his wounds.

Moving up to the NW bunker we come under light fire, and one of my men loses his life. The squad has no direction on the enemy, so we stop and scour the field for contacts, until i tell them to move up with covering overwatches. The enemy is quickly found and eliminated, and was discoverd that this was an enemy HAT. After working our way to this place, i am able to identify 4 armored veichles on a hill shooting and engaging our flag area. I call in mortars and CAS, but enemey AIR and Anti Air is present.

After being engaged by a tank, and waiting for 5 min. The Apache appears over the top of our heads at around 700 m height. I quickly call in Birdie to engage and eliminate the enemey helicopter. But before he reaches us, a HAT missile penetrates the Apaches armor and it goes tumbeling to the ground.

Our squad moves up to some hills, and we discover an enemy squad in the open, everyone opens fire, and scream out contacts as we engage eliminate reload and generally get shot back at. The friendly hat guy comes by asking for ammunition, and he takes out 1 APC and one Tank.

After this firefight i order my squad forward. After advancing about 50 m above the crest of the hill an into no mans land, we come under light fire, and i order my squad into cover and tell them to engage the enemy at a Hill North of our position. I call in mortars and CAS but neither arrive, so looking at my ammunition count, i tell the men to fall back to get more ammo.

Requesting ammunition on a 4k map, is not easy. Oskar tells me he will be with me in 5 min, and after some time he simply switches to a cow and flies to me to rearm my squad. What a noble man. The squad being fully supplied is again engaged by APCs and Tanks and we quickly use a HAT aquired to eliminate one of them, and then after all that fire. Our team Wins.

Fools Road
After a quick brief our team decides that my squad will go to the first flag, and the rest will take the North Depot. Our squad quickly moves out to Aktash River and establish the british flag capture there.

After that our squad moves to the North Depot and togheter with Squad 3 with Oskar take out alot of enemies. After this we clear the position we are at. And we move to West Ridge. There we encounter alot of enemies, and after a quick regroup kill off the entire enemy presence on that position. And we are about to capture the flag when the enemy returns and without proper reinforcements and alot of my men in need of a medic we are eliminated.

We respawn at one of the FOBs and move back now with the help of squad 3. Who is quickly elminiated and asks us to take out the enemy presence ontop of them. We make a quick flank get up on the mountain and eliminate the enemy squad ontop of squad 3s dead corpses. We find a FOB and after a quick firefight are able to eliminate that aswell. I get reports about squad 5 needing assitance and an enemy FOB north of West Ridge so we quickly move up there to find out what is going on. Taking out 4 enemies and finding a squad about to approach us. Which we engage but moving so fast our squad is to spread out and is elimnated after a brief firefight.

We spawn back at the FOB and regroup with squad 3 who is not very happy, and talks about who to defend and who to attack. I say we both attack but that was not an option. So we press on, now south of north depot we are engaged in the open woods not far from west ridge in a really bad spot. I order my squad to unload their entire magazine at the enemy and then fall back as fast as possible. We are able to get to a safe positions, but we still recive Grenadier and marksman fire and after 5 minutes of reviving and organzing ourselfs we move away from the positions still under fire.

After getting to a new positon not 200 me away, we effectivly engage the enemy and eliminate two or three of them. I quickly order my squad to move north up into a hill. And then we engage the same target again. After this i order my squad east and we move north aswell. Our squad regroups and i take this photograph:

After the group picture we were told an enemy squad was about to hit us from birdie. I move my squad into position, only to find a much better postion to our right, we move up and in 30 seconds take out 8 enemies after quickly engaging and firering. I am the only casualty, and I am revived with the remnants of what i belive was squad 2.

After this I decide to move to engage the enemy over a completly open field, i call it a suicide mission. But the grunts doesnt seem to min, infact they applaud the idea. So we rush over the field and meet one or two guys. At this moment i have to leave, so i took two quick screenshots of the current situation:

Anyway, that was my only death on map inside apache.

Better than this, was a round on shijia valley on NwA(i think), 2 days ago when i was a gunner of apache and got 34/2 stats.
Pretty bad stats anyway

But anyway, nice story even though a bit long

These 2 were really good rounds. Climatic as well. Sorry if I had to leave anyone to rot alone in the woods, forgotten and alone, without a proper burial.

There was alot of requests.

It goes pretty well actually, usually squadleaders divide the squad into 2 fireteams (6 man) so there's absolute same pressure, in addition the squad is more effective.

Oh jeez we were getting destroyed in the Challenger 2s. Constant HAT from the MEC team eventually had us hiding behind a hill so it couldn't kill us.

I think I was the one shooting at you Wicca, there were like 7-9 guys that decided to run over the hill towards VCP, I mowed down a couple of them in the Challenger.

I was happy when I took out an enemy tank lol.
