i was thinking the same today....

I've downloaded it but can't see any Normandy servers in the server list of PRBF2. How do you find and join a Normandy server?

Project Normandy servers are down for now because close to nobody joins and play them. So servers will be back on the next update of Project Normandy, that should be in like 1 - 2 months :S

WHy nobody playing them? Do they not like old weapons? When I used to play BHD (Black Hawk Down) we used to play on a dedicated Normandy server ran by a clan called Predators; their maps were way ahead of all the other servers. A guy called Kip Killigan was one of the map makers there, he was fab at it. I miss BHD.

After a while I guess people just got bored of storming the beaches over and over again. I stopped playing a while for the same reason, but I think we'll be pleasantly surprised with all the new updates to the map and minimod with the new update, I say wait it out and play PV for a bit

Because everyone is tired of playing the same map over and over again

Hahah yes that's the main reason why the mini-mod lost popularity like that, PN was released like 7 days before the Map Pack

Meh, it's not the mappack, it's just that Normandy right now only features one map. One map that often ends the same way. You get a bit tired if you only play one map all the time .

Anyways, this one map will get another layer in the next versino, featuring paradrops - pretending it's the night before.

We're also hoping to implement some other maps, but not yet known if they will make it in time.

Anyone wanna get a server going?

PRTA had a server going.. but they closed it because the mini-mod was not popular enough after the map pack. And to be honest people were tired of playing the same thing.

IT'S ALWAYS ready for events though, if you can get some good ammount of player I'll ask Wicca to put the server back on.

Just look for "normandy" in the server name.
