Re: [Weapon] Wist 94
Looking pretty good from what I can see! For presentation it's recommended to use a gray or gradient background though. Full white or full black makes it more difficult to spot the details of the model. Also really needed are some edged faces shots so we can see the structure of the geometry.

I think you should weld this to the main body, will help with UVs later. It wont add that many tris, anyway.

PLEASE post the uv map before going on to texturing! it just makes so much easier to address any problems now rather than later.

I instructed all members to post the UV map along with models and textures in future.
Thanks

Small random scratch and scratches on the edges.Like this.
Plastic looking bad for me,looking so rough.Try to scale down your plastic texture. It must be looking like on my M4/16 handgrip.

Or just scale down texture, then lots of scratches will missed/less filled.

Hi, it's my first post so hello evryone.
Have you got any source that our army use two-tone Wist 94. Because IMO it should be all black.
Anyway, great model and i really appreciate your hard work guys.
Also sorry for my bad english.

I don't know, it's hard to find any references of polish military equipment.

Yes, it's true but i don't think that any army is using two tone pistols, and also black Wist 94 is standard production model.

Are you using marmoset/8monkey toolbag to view textures/model? I suggest putting your cubemap to pavement/pisa/sunlight as It kinda looks like yours is on night time but I could be wrong.
As for the texture,
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... 94_MON.jpg
you have good base colours but you need to get some subtle overlays going to start defining the materials, it is a bit early to give you criticism as there is not much do say but this is a helpful guide.
I hope that helps.
