[OD-S] Infantry Night to show off our new North American Server!

Our opening day has finally arrived after testing our server and getting it ready!

We are looking to give back to the community a great North American server that has great pings for everyone, even the Euros! We are looking for great games of Infantry and those scary tactics that some clans will bring us! (PS: Watch out for those Mortars!)

The event will not have signups. If you wish to sign up as CO please contact TROOPER, send him a PM. Also, it would be nice if clans wanting to attend would contact him in advance with the amount of players they will be bringing so we can address possible balance issues.

Event Rules:
1. Follow CO>SL>SM chain of command
2. No squads before 1:30
3. Don't be a retard - all regular server rules apply!
4. Play hard, but play fair. No glitching and no mortars in the dome of death.
5. Mumble is MANDATORY.

Please forgive my noob question but what does INF layer do in regards to map size?

I.E Kashan, walk into desert for 20 minutes. Get klled by MG in Hangar. Respawn, Walk 20 minutes?

Does INF have transport and log?

I guess they will simply run the 16layers, featuring trucks, transport helicopters, jeeps, but no heavy assets such as tanks ect.

Infantry is awesome!

Yes, we will only be playing the Infantry layer and which k4on said, there will be jeeps/trucks and helicopters.

I'm glad I was able to back the server financially. So you guys are in the know, Trooper is my little bro and the server is his Christmas present from me. It was his idea. I think its a great indicator of how much he loves PR and how he wishes to see a strong North American community.

It is my hope that the server thrives so I can have the opportunity to play on it when I return from Afghanistan.

Thank you to all of you that can make it to the event. I wish I could be fragging along with you this weekend.

Thanks Wicca and you're welcome. It was a easy choice to fund it. Over the years, I've enjoyed playing PR with you and a lot of the "regulars" in the community. Thank you for helping Trooper get this event off the ground.

Just doing my part Tim270. I still remember my first PR round years ago during PR 0.5 and the thrill of playing. It was the old Al Basrah with the U.S. forces I believe. I hope this server saves the NA community, so to speak, so some new player to PR can enjoy the same thrill and excitement I experienced.

The best thing though has been the bond Trooper and I have developed over PC gaming and PR has played a big part in that.

We still don't have any commanders willing, so if you think you got what it takes PM me or Xfire.
