SERVER SIDE MUMBLE PROBLEM.

Post by Tiger1 »

Gents,

How do we get mumble to work for our 64 man server?

Do we need to contact someone to create rooms for our server on the official PR mumble server?

If so who?
How can we fix this little problem as quickly as possible?

Cheers

First you need to have a server license which you can request here:
PR Server License - Project Reality Forums

then you(or another TP staff member) will be granted Server Administrator powers and will have access to the private forums for that.

Then you will find all the info you need there to acquire a mumble channel and other server info.

good luck,
Mineral

edit : I judged this cause yourself doesn't have the Tag of being a server admin. Maybe someone else in the TP community is the server license holder? Then he should be able to to access the server admin forums and figure this out for you.

Thanks for your answer Mineral.
I'm the server Administrator at TP. This is our first public server and I'm basically learning by doing right now.
We already got the server up and running (Tiger Platoon & Brothers in Arms Joint Operations) so the PR license is already dealt with.
How do I get the administrator powers so I can access to the private forums??

Mumble is basically the only thing remaining before we can launch the server.

Thanks for your help so far.

Cheers

I'm pretty sure if you have the license then you should have that usergroup assigned to you automaticly. I suggest sending a PM to Epoch to sort this out as I think he is the DEV for this stuff.

Thanks for the info guys..

I tried to apply for a User License in the User License Application, but no luck.
When I enter the IP for our server I get the "Server already in use." message.
Our server is hosted by alpha-networks.co.uk and is already up and running.

What can I do to solve this??

Any help would be much appreciated..

Thanks

Epoch check your inbox, still can impossibly be difficult to setup. TP already has two PR servers, thus we already have our license(s).

thank you in advance.

Anything new about this issue??

This is the error I get when I try to request a license for our server.

Surely there must be a way around this. Seems like the server is already registered by Alpha-Networks whom is hosting it. It can't be the first time this problem occur??

Can you please help us with this??

Thanks

That is the exact IP & Port of PR Server I once had. Btw Epoch this server is from Alpha Networks.

It seems Realitymod does not reset even though the server is not selected, I just looked in my server browser in my license CP and its not there my current server is etc..

The server at that IP/port is licensed to "Grabbin-Skillz" (license holder).

If that server is no longer running, and you're now on that IP/port, then that license holder needs to advise me via PM.

I suggest you contact him.
