Title says it all:
So I get Il-2 reinstalled, mods installed and ready to go. I open up hyperlobby, go to join a server--the splash screen comes up for Il-2, my heart starts pounding (yes, finally!) aaaannnnnnndddd crash to desktop.
No error message. Nothing. Just a quick glimpse of the splash/loading screen for IL-2.
I have Windows 7 now, so I thought that was the problem-but after hearing/seeing people who played Il-2 using windows 7 I don't think that's the case.
I am running a legal Il-2 version off of steam.
If anyone has any information as to what the problem might be, hit me up.

Make sure the server you're playing is NOT modded.
