Looking for a clan!

I am 22, 11B (Infantry) In the Army National Guard. I'm new to PR, but not new to to the BF series. I always try to play strategically and communicate to the best of my abilities. The size of the unit doesn't have to be super big, but big enough to create a presence on the battlefield.

I am looking for a group of mature (18+) individuals who know how to both play the game well, can communicate. Most likely looking for a Milsim or Realism unit. My availability differs on a daily basis, but I work during the week and do hit the gym every evening due to multiple Physique competitions coming up. I can play late evening and mainly on weekends. I'm in Central Standard Time (United States of America).

My favorite kit is Combat Medic, Basic Infantry, or Sniper/Marksman, but am open to any.

Why does everyone want to do milsim in BF2PR? You're gonna have a bad time.

Good luck with finding a clan though, theres quite a few out there at the moment.

Hello Mr Reddington.
Do you think you have what it takes?

Do you have the mind set to handle Teamwork and Tactics?

Can you maintain Discipline and Respect?

Then the 4th Special Forces Group is exactly what your looking for. We are not a realism unit. We are a Military Simulation Unit. Our training system is ran and taught by actual Combat Veterans that have served in the military at home and overseas. Not only do we have U.S. Vets, we also have U.K. Vets and other Vets from across the Globe. We also have currently serving members of the military

We also have a Veterans Program. We try to give back to our veterans for what they've done for their countries. Real World Veterans here only. We do check a sanitized DD-214 Document for the entry level in the veterans program.
After completion of Basic Training, veterans will be implemented into this unit as an E-4 Specialist. We challenge People here- I look for quitters and drop outs. Only the Strong survive here. I don't care about numbers people. We believe in Quality over Quantity.
you can join our TS at: 198.15.96.154
Go to our website 4th SFG or add me on xfire: Vance14

Btw L4gi, It's because we are awesome :D

I enjoy the structure of it. As a current member of the Military, I feel like it would just be right assuming people know how to do it correctly.I'm willing to test out the waters with different types of groups.

milsim simply doesnt work in PR, the only two Clan structures which makes sense imo are many allround and overall good players (3dac and OD-S if im not mistaken) or that everyone has a fixed role, like medic, AT and so on (QRF).
about milsim players are awesome: I as serveradmin made quite bad experience with those players, mainly in basic behaviour, but thats my personal opinion and definitly not a general assumption.

@topic: if it had to be milsim, then I can recommend the TP tiger platoon, great bunch of guys

There is alot of hate against milsim units for the rong units, the problem with milsim is that everyone wants to make a milsim unit so u will have 12 year old kids making milsim units and giving themselves rank of Gen so they can be called sir or general, thats the only thing i hate about milsim and thats what ruins the milsim community, if u have no idea of what milsim is or how it works please don t make a milsim unit ur doing pr community a big favour.

Ohh and TP is probably the best clan out there that is close to milsim so i reccomend them if you want to have a good PR experiance.

Let's not turn this thread into a "why milsim" thread guys, Reddington wants to join one and we should all let him do that without bashing down on the milsim aspect.

Seems this is the 4th thing we've ever agreed upon.

TP is milsim? This is news to me.

I wanted a Milsim unit if the people know how to run the Milsim unit properly. I lovve the Military, especially hte unit that I am in and want to have somethign with the same sort of structure. Really, more just of the Chain of Command, with viable leaders in each role. I can understand why there are major problems with it, though. I should have rephrased that all, I apologize. I really just am looking for a very organized group of guys, who can play together and communicate with excellence. A lot of these clans out here look great but it almost seem slike none of them ever respond to my applications, or ever verify my account that I try to make to enlist or apply.

Really just looking for an organized, skilled group.

Sorry.

I`d say join QRF of course :b, but u need a multinational clan since its german only. So OD-S, 3dAC or TP (that are the only real multinational "MilSim" guys) are the clans that would be able to offer you what you want i guess. If you were Russian i would tell you to try SRF as well but better just try playing with one of the multinationals, theyre all awesome and everyone knows that. You wont be sorry, good luck.

Nemo.

Nemo, stop trolling please. We are not a super z0mg 1337 MilSim clan. We sure have some similiar with real life armies, like ranks. But we are not a clan where you need appointment to talk to our clan leader. Nor does he have to be called sir, nor does he have a secretariat.

And we are not a clan that does this super real life stuff, like sitting 3 hours on the hills south of the city of Al Basrah doing nothing and getting exactly 2 caches. (Both by APCs).

We are a bunch of guys from all around the world playing a game! Not a simulation.

We on the other hand are very milsim. I am adressed as "Dear Leader, savior of the innocents" or "Fearless leader, glory be to your greatness".

Every time an officer joins a ts channel or a squad, everyone salutes him and greets him by saying "All hail our officer, servant of the Dear Chosen One!"

Unless you are an officer, you are not allowed to directly talk to the Dear Leader. You must first file permission with the Department of the Internal Affairs who then either allow you facetime or send you to jail. The decision is made taking into consideration the position of the moon.

If you would like to know more, schedule an interview with the Bureau of Recruitment, Investigation and Agriculture.

Yours truly,
The fearless savior of innocents, protector of all that is Sierra and Dear Leader of OD-S,
Admiral General Luigi

Give the apps a week or so sometimes people are reviewing, dicking around or doing other things. You're best bet is to join their TS or PM a member if you're looking to get ahold of them.

Many people just don't take kindly to the term milsim in the community as a whole when it comes to PR.

If you want to join a milsim unit for the roleplay aspect, then you're looking for the right reason. You're there to pretend like you're in a military group of sorts.

If you want teamplay, most clans or groups are focused around that, and most have a command structure like what you are looking for.
