Hello! there was this error even after reinstalling, what to do?

Do you have any kind of firewall or anti-virus system blocking the download requests?

Try temporarily disabling your anti-virus or firewall.

already disabled, same error all the time

I've got the same error.
"fixed" it with altering update download locations in launcher > Options > Global.
For example, if path to your bf2 is like: then you need to set download locations to Double check this.

Thought I'd post here in case anyone gets this 1222 error.

I just got this error the other day. Turned out that I had set the path, as described above, to an external drive. I'd gone on vacation and had brought the external drive with me, and now when I got back and tried to run the update, was getting 1222 error 'cause the external drive was not plugged into my computer, so the updater, or the game, could not find the directory specified in the PR launcher.

When I found this post above, and checked the PR launcher, I noticed that the path to the updates was pointing to the U: drive, and then I realized that my U: drive (external) was not connected. Once I plugged in my external drive, everything worked the charm.

So if you get this error, check the PR launcher to determine where the updates get stored, and make sure that path is good, and also make sure there is a good 5-6 GB of free space on that same drive, 'cause if there's insufficient free space, you'll likely get the same error msg.

Edit: It doesn't really matter where the path in the PR launcher is pointing to... just as long as it's a valid storage location and that there is enough free space. Save the updates wherever you like, set the path in the launcher.
