Aiming with the RPG-7?

Ok, so I think there's something wrong with the search function. Couldn't find a singe post containing "RPG" which seems rather odd...
So, sorry if there's already a similar thread!

Since 1.0 we have the new adjustable sights in some AT-weapons, which is awesome!
Problem for me is that the RPG-7 is "zeroed" (is that the right expression?) at 200m, without the ability to adjust it to lower distances.

Most of the time I use this weapon at distances of approximately 50-150 meters.
So I just have to ask a "retard" question on how I am supposed to aim?
Last knight I was crawling up to an LAV and got to distance of between 100 and 150 meters. Popped out of my hiding spot for a quick shot, aimed very low on the vehicle (close to the ground) to compensate for the fact that the sight is set to 200 meters, fired... and of course it went above him. Same thing has happened before.

I'm not suggesting any changes or anything - if that's what the RL sight is like, I won't whine about it. Just need some tips on how to use it properly.

Put the whole sight in the middle of the vehicle.

Real RPG-7 ironsights have a minimum range of 200m.

Also afaik the RPG's deviation is still screwed up so that would probably explain it going way high.

Yeah i think you have deviation to blame for that miss, TBH the RPG-7 is quite dreadful for firing at a target in under 8 seconds or at anything over 75 meters. Also the lack of sighting below 200 meters seems to be rather illogical given that effective combat range is below that but i guess you can blame soviet Russia for that one.

It is easy and logical as in real life.
If your target is far than 200m, you aim above it.
If your target is closer than 200m, you aim below it.
Simple as that.
