Why not just buy a Google Nexus 5? It's a damn good phone, and dirt cheap. Don't buy on contract though - but it outright from Google Play, and get a SIM-only deal with your mobile provider. Should work out cheaper in the long run.

None of those you linked is any good for games and apps. Ones proposed by Epoch and ElshanF are fine but may be too much expensive, as we still dont know how much you want to spend.
Something in the middle would be Sony Xperia L > HTC Desire 500 > Samsung Galaxy Core > Alcatel Idol ot 6030d

Get a phone with android...
Really, iOs and w8 are great and all. But android has far more apps than any other phone operating system.
Ive even played settlers 2 gold edition on my phone, using an emulator. Thats how awesome android is

I still have my good ol' LG Shine. It's shiny. Can't see in sunlight. You can drop it without problems. Has a mini-joystick that resembles a nipple. 2007/2008 at its finest. xD
Highly recommend if you have a budget of only afew acorns.

I have an iPhone myself, and I don't care for anything else either than the fact that it texts and calls. Maybe you should hold out for this:
