I am just curious.


I find it the most boring map in PR.



(I know a lot of other people find it very boring too)

It's just the same old tactics. Over and over again!!! At least update it with a village near US command or SOMETHING.



They should have scraped IA Drang since it only took like 2 days to make the flippen map.
Dien Dong was definently the better nam map.

I disagree with you. It's fantastic to have a map without urban areas.

Um, wut? Its an awesome map, many people love it. If a reason for taking a map out of PR is that it is repetitive then you probably should make a thread about Muttrah city or Kashan, those maps always play out the same.

- Yeah 90% of all pr maps are like that so thats a lame reason to remove the map.

- NO. Nowhere in any pictures or the movie "we Were Soldiers" do you see a village near the US command

- Good thing you know how long it took to make, sounds easy with two days so just add a small village there yourself lol, also pretty sure it took more than 2 days(i don't know, but pretty sure)

And its like one of the best nam maps in PR in my opinion, i love that map

I also disagree, its a great map and I would be disappointed if it was taken out.

I don't much enjoy the large 4km maps where infantry mostly serves as targets, spotters for assets or resources used for capping points, but I wouldn't ask the DEVs to take them out because I find them boring as hell.

I think its a somewhat bad map, but why remove it, it pisses off the people who love it! Bringin back Dien Duong would be amazing however.

i kinda agree with the OP, but i wouldn't want to remove la drang...it's still fun occasionally. i really really liked dien dong, hopefully it will come back someday.

yeah my Fav vietnam map was dien dong dont know why they removed it

If enough people agree with Dien Duong, I could try to dig it up in the archives.

I do like ia drang. But imo servers play it too often.

Imo add one or 2 more jeeps to nva

I agree, bring back Dien Dong! I've never even played it, but more Vietnam maps is always good

A 2km > 4km overhaul would be pretty neat.

Im playing this game quite often,one could say nearly every day... but i haven't played la drang in months.

indeed, its rarely played and iam still waiting for the chance to use the skyraider once in a live round.

Ia Drang is easily my favorite Vietnam map. I think it's the most balanced and fun to play compared to the others.

Ia Drang is one of my favorites. In 0.98 and 1.0.

PPsH + Bushes are just pure awesomeness. Some epic firefights there around all three flags. Epic flanking, maneuvering, hiding, counter-attacking possibilities.

I wish it would be played more often. I'd prefer it over Khamisiyah 5 out of 10 times.

it was one of the best Vietnam maps plus it had an insurgency layout.
