Hello guys.

So, my PC's PSU fried and even though I can get a new one, my PC has basically been a colection of used parts that constatly break and have to either be replaced by other used parts or fixed. So I'm seriously considering just straight buying a new PC.

I've been looking in my local store, and the most decent cheapest PCs I could find were:

- ACER AMC605 - Intel I5 (Desktop Avan?ado ACER AMC605 - Intel i5)

- INSYS Haswell - Intel I5 (Desktop Home Avan?ado INSYS Haswell - Intel i5)

- ASUS M11AD-PT0008S - Intel I5
(Desktop Home Avan?ado ASUS M11AD-PT0008S - Intel i5 - Desktops - Inform?tica - In?cio)

(Pages are in portuguese, but you should be able to translate it with Google Translator, if not, I can post the specs here.)

Those are kind of in the ideal limit of my price range (600 euros). Althouh I am willing to stretch it a little if necessary. So, are any of those actually worth it? And if yes, which one shold I go with? I'm not really willing to go into a lot of trouble with this, I don't have a full time job, the best I can do is part-time during summer.

Nvidia GT 620 - NOT recommended for PR, will only "play" PR in REALLY low settings with REALLY low fps... will be not worth it imo.

And the Intel i5-4430 has not listed graphics card? Why? Integrated Intel GFX? Even worse than GT 620... :/

You should get the cheapest PC, maybe the i5-4430 (IF this is cheapest) and buy additional GFX card for 100 bucks or so...

Wait for others to reply this thread first though.

With your budget of 600 Euros you should be able to get a plenty powerful PC to play PR.

The first PC is not worth the trouble:
Alimenta??o PFC 220W (30l) EuP
220W gives you no room for a GPU upgrade.

You might consider keeping some of your current PC:
case
fans
hard drive
DVD/CD drive
OS

And just buying :
CPU
thermal paste
mobo
PSU
GPU
RAM
and maybe a new quieter fan.

I would advise against all the PC's you listed.
think about spending an afternoon rebuilding your PC from parts.

That local PC shop is quite honestly a really bad place to buy anything PC related. It has almost nothing for entry level gaming components.

I'm not endorsing any of these online stores, but you should look at places like this for a combo CPU/motherboard/RAM deal.

Well, it's been a while since I first posted this, but I just wanna thank you guys for your suggestions and knowledge.

I didn't buy a new PC, instead I decided to buy new parts. Turned out my Mother Board died as well, so had to replace that, also upgraded the RAM and the CPU and a few other candy gadgets. What I still need to upgrade tho is the GPU, which is also what I have less knowledge about. So when the time comes to do that, I hope I can count on some of you guys for help again.

Well, looks like I'm in luck. My older brother just ordered a new graphics card and made a "deal" with me, got his Radeon HD 6870. And from what I've read online, and seen on his PC, I'd say I'm well served.

I've never used AMD cards before tho, I've always been an Nvidia guy, anything I should know?

The new and very cheap Pentium G3258 looks good for PR(since PR does not support multicore anyway) with its overclock ability.

Still waiting on the CPU, and the GPU is not mounted yet as you can see (old GeForce GT 9500 is still there), but here it is as of now:
