Mumble issues
So, I have an issue where I cant hear anyone on mumble, I can see their overlays but no audio. I have tried, restarting mumble, the game and my computer I have re installed mumble and the game, I have checked to make sure I am not muted or Deafened, and have ran audio wizard and checked the settings. Any thing else I can do to fix this?

Re: Mumble issues
start PRMumble and go to settings,
try adding keybind shortcuts for Volume up 10% and for Volume Down 10% and optionally Mute and UnMute.
I use right control+arrow up and right control+arrow down for volume up and down, fyi.
It's possible Mumble set your output to 0% volume, which is not Mute, it's just 0%. So you have to make a keybind to get it to 50% or 100% percent.

control panel->Sound-Select output device you use for PR->Properties->Advanced->Uncheck the Exlcusivity tickboxes. CLICK APPLY.
Test PRMumble.
-------------
If yuo have another audio output jack, like back of motherboard and then a frontpanel jack, switch the output speaker, and test.

Same problem here. Re-instaling PR now. We will se results tomorrow.
As far as I can remember something fuc$%^ up after playing on one of the new maps called Arctic Lion.
Just sayin, but it probably doesn't have any connection with this case...

Re: Mumble issues
Let's see if it this problem:
Find which sound output is the one you are using for everything.
Right click, Advanced, Exclusive mode.
UNtick the boxes for now to test.
It's possible you have another program running , (TS3, Vent, Skype etc, that has exclusivity mode enabled, so it's 'stealing' your output device)
2. Start PRMumble,
Go to Configure->Settings->Advanced tickbox on bottom left->Audio Output
Matching the Windows Audio output to the PRMumble Audio output will fix this problem in most cases,
CLICK APPLY to save settings changes.

Re: Mumble issues
. Go to Control Panel->Sound
Click the Playback tab.
Screencap and upload.
GO to PRMumble,
Go to Configure->Settings->Advanced tickbox on bottom left->Audio Output
Screencap and upload.
We have to make sure PRMumble is selecting the same output as your default Windows playback device.
Also, are you using any type of USB headset, wireless headset , Bluetooth headset, USB Amp mixer, etc?
Do you have a keyboard that has an audio 3.5mm jack?
Are you running monitors with HDMI cables and have Windows audio out set to HDMI audio out over your video card? Or HDMI audio out to a receiver?

Re: Mumble issues
just making sure screencap means take a screenshot right? and to answer your other questions I am using a headset that uses a combination usb and audio plugs. This headset works in every other game and has worked before the update.

I think that's the highest quality I can upload them at without exceeding the upload size.

Re: Mumble issues
Ok, well I can't deal with forum troubleshooting anymore so if you want, grab this program, and send me a PM and we'll figure out a time I can have a look @ your PC to see what the issue is [or if it can even be fixed].

Re: Mumble issues
I'm also having problems with mumble.
When I join a server one of two things happen:
1) PRMumble simply doesn't work and a little white speaker with a red slash appears in the bottom right.
2) PRMumble works for 3-5 seconds, then the little white speaker with a red slash appears in the bottom right.
I've tried everything from this thread, can I also have a private troubleshoot?

Re: Mumble issues
Yeah, but unfortunately it seems the majority of people who have these problems live in the states, which is a 10-13 hour time difference from me here in Japan, so sometimes it's hard to coordinate a time that works for both of us, but I'll reply if you PM me
