i know there was a map back in 0.89 with insurgency layout but it got removed from some reason , maybe some people from the community modeling can make Viet cong models
that way it will be close to reality , doing search & destroy missions.
i really want to enjoy PR:V i think it can be really fun if more maps will be made
Vietnam insurgency

Dien Duong used to have an INS layer, but I believe Dien Duong was removed. Not sure why either.
And yeah I totally agree with you about the Vietcong. They are long over due imo.

Re: Vietnam insurgency
I'm studying how to map levels now in PR so once i can master this i will start doing research and making new maps if people do make new factions that would be awesome if not try to do maps base off of NVA vs USA

Re: Vietnam insurgency
If memory serves Dien Duong (can't spell it despite being my favorite PR:V map) was removed because there was an easily exploited glitch concerning the ability to crawl into the underground tunnel static. This meant that not only could anyone slide into the static via unfinished terrain (appears to be as easy as raising the terrain on that corner of the static) but caches in the tunnel system often spawned players inside the static as well.
I honestly loved fighting on that map, it ranged from fights across valleys as well as getting ambushed in said valleys, but also had the tunnel system as well as a few other points of interest (small hut village and what looked like an abandoned USMC outpost). I was saddened by its removal, especially when it actually added something to the overall mod by being the only PR:V INS map. I don't get how this map is removed but there are plenty of other maps bloating the filesize when they add next to nothing to gameplay as a whole.
