Does the non-conventional factions have a boat with MG? I can only find one boat called 'boat_rib' but it looks too high-tech for ARF:/

They can use the US vietnam patrol boat... in lesser numbers since its heavily armed, and the vietnamese river boats for transport.

Thanks guys. I'm still working on Grozny but it's not much left and I'm waiting for the Afghan statics for shok ridge.

Grozny seemed like it is close to being finished. Played it yesterday.

As did I, but it still has very low FPS when just walking around alone.

As far as assets go for this map, I would seriously hold off on adding heavy assets, since the land masses lack any depth at all, meaning that the islands would turn into killing fields for any CAS or Armour assets. It's something that is a bit of a problem on Op.Barracuda, but that is against the PLA who have TOWs, AAA, AA sites HAT, good LAT and some lightly armoured vehicles. Even then, it looks like the majority of terrain on Sapphire is less dense!

I would say just watercraft and several transport choppers for the USMC:

? (lots) x RHIB
4x RHIB, 50cal M2
2 x RHIB Mk.19 AGL

2x UH-1N Huey, M240
1x MV-22 Osprey

For the ARF:

? (lots) x Wooden Sampan
4 x Wooden Sampan, Dshk 12.7mm
3 x PBR (Vietnam US patrol boat).
4 x motorcycle
2 x Civi car
1 x Technical, S-5 rockets.

If you really wanted to push it (perhaps for a large layer):
add 2 x AAVP7A1 to USMC and change 2 x ARF civi cars for 2 x Technical, SPG-7.

I also think it is important that you disperse a few AAA sites around the map, not necessarily most of them defending flags/important locations, like the fortresses, but some simply in the dense forrest to catch pilots off-guard. That way, pilots wont get immediately used to their locations.

Yeah I decided to not use any super-heavy vehicles, the ARF might get an APC.
I also added 3 more smaller Islands :) '

Yeah this seems nice, although I don't think there will be an Osprey but I like the rocket techie :D

Yep ARF will get both AA and AT emplacements.

I can try and get a small test event to go on whenever you are at a comfortable progress on the map. Like PRTA.

Thanks Brenn4an, It will be ready in a couple of days.

I will use Mogolians suggestion with some modifications. no comment=no change.
? (lots) x RHIB---------------Couldn't find this one
4x RHIB, 50cal M2-------------------- I added 6 of these.
2 x RHIB Mk.19 AGL------------------Couldn't find this one

2x UH-1N Huey, M240
1x MV-22 Osprey

For the ARF:

? (lots) x Wooden Sampan-----------------Couldn't find Sampan without MG so I used the PLA boat which actually fits perfectly to this map.
4 x Wooden Sampan, Dshk 12.7mm
3 x PBR (Vietnam US patrol boat).--------- I put 1 PBR and 1 PBR-swift (bigger version) in the biggest dock and they will never respawn, basically the US had a small presence in the area but the ARF attacked and managed to capture them.
4 x motorcycle
2 x Civi car
1 x Technical, S-5 rockets.
ARF will also get
1x Ural AAV truck, spawned on the western big Island with no respawn.
4x fixed AA
1x fixed AT

Actually ARF speaking French on this map would be awesome.
