Those files go to system folder you do not have to do anything about it.
If you have damaged PR files, you might want to reinstall PR and verify if your ISO is identical with the one provided by creators. You can do so by verifying MD5 hash of the ISO file.
Also make sure that your AV software is not blocking any of PR related files, make an exclusion in AV software is the best thing to do. Do so for Punkbuster and dont skip its installation.
Using Vista? God...why? Reboot after installation!
Edit: Wanted to post a topic with MD5 hash of the ISO file but I cant seem to find it, there used to be one before.
Ah there is SHA-1 ckecksum on downloads page if you click on the details. Use any tool listed on the link below to verify the SHA 1 ckecksum of the ISO ( not files! )
