Hello, I'm a returning player and I noticed that when I join a server in the bottom right corner I had the mumble disconnected icon so I tabbed out and this is what I see in the console chat thing:
[2:20:17 AM] Welcome to Project Reality Mumble.
[2:20:17 AM] Opening URL prmumble://[email protected]:64740
[2:20:17 AM] Connecting to server 64.237.49.109.
[2:20:17 AM] Project Reality: BF2 linked.
[2:20:47 AM] Server connection failed: Connection timed out.
[2:20:57 AM] Reconnecting.
[2:21:27 AM] Server connection failed: Connection timed out.
[2:21:37 AM] Reconnecting.
[2:22:07 AM] Server connection failed: Connection timed out.
I tried playing on multiple servers, same problem persists.
I've tried setting prmumble so it always runs as admin, compatibility mode, turning off "use quality of service", using "force tcp mode", and even turning off my anti-virus. Not sure what to try next.
Help would be appreciated, I love this game and would like to get back in action as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

I've looked at every thread regarding this issue including the sticky, either no one replied with a solution or their answer didn't work

Re: PRMumble Connection Failed/Timed out
I've seen many many people having issues with them. I've seen a player here from Syria where mumble Is blocked.
I suggest you search using Comcast thinking that they block access to the ports used by mumble?

I'll try port forwarding and let you know how it works out.

Re: PRMumble Connection Failed/Timed out
Okay so my problem is solved. I didn't end up having to port forward but this is what I did:
I couldn't log into my Xfinity gateway (10.0.0.1) and generally to fix that you have to reset your modem so I disconnected the ethernet cables and coax cable running into it and held the reset button down for 15 seconds. After reconnecting everything and getting internet again I logged in and turned on port-forwarding because it was off (don't know if this part actually had an effect). Then launched project reality and connected to a server and now voip works fine. Hope this helps others with comcast who might be having a similar problem.
