If you attempt to launch again does it not display the error?. Do you also crash after the intro if you bypass this error?. I get this same error along with the issue listed on the thread below.

That's exactly what happens. Other people having the same issue huh? I was just playing a few hours ago.

Yeah, check that thread. It's a new and strange issue, as most of us having it occur have played Project Reality for a long time with little to no issues. Hopefully it can be addressed.ObstructedDelusions wrote:That's exactly what happens. Other people having the same issue huh? I was just playing a few hours ago.

Glad i was not the only one with the issue, i am just hoping that enough people are being effected by this for the Development team to take notice and try and troubleshoot/resolve the problem. It seems the majority of players can still connect and play just fine, hopefully that does not prolong this not being resolved.ExplodingFloor wrote:Also getting the error, along with a crash after the intro.

I am getting the same issue, under my "JungleTheBand" account. I cant even get past the intro either. I tried to run as admin and with other compatibility modes, but it still doesn't work.

Same here, I was playing this morning perfectly fine. I tried again later and I get the error, "bypass" it by clicking on login a second time, and then it crashes after the intro. Never happened before. (I'm on Windows 7, by the way).
EDIT:

What RAWSwampFox said worked for me.

I still crash after the intro video. I am not sure if it is because hog is full or not. I hope we can get fix though where I can join any server.Lukasoss wrote:Same here, I was playing this morning perfectly fine. Alright. Are we all having the same issue? Yes, yes we are.
What is the issue?
The issue is that in our region when we attempt to connect to the master server, it does not connect, and because it does not connect to the server when PR does start up after getting the error the first time, the PR launcher is still not connected to the master server which makes the game crash, its a reasonable explanation.
This has nothing to do with your software, or your computer, this is simply a network issue.
Stop posting your specs.
So, what we're going to have to do is wait it out, and hopefully we can eventually connect to the master server, or a DEV will look into it.
I only see this being a temporary issue. Let's just wait for someone higher up to spread the word and hopefully the issue can be fixed.
Patience

I was having the same issue and found the solution. Do what Swamp says in this thread> https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... tro-3.html.
It worked for me.

Ya, not that desperate to play that I'm gonna be changing command lines every time I wanna join a different server. I can wait...

Even though I posted what RAWSwampFox said before, and it did in fact work, now I'm still having the same issue. It is surely a network problem, never thought otherwise. We'll just have to wait until everything comes back to normal.

Ugh... Why is it so painful to wait? I have never wanted to play PR more than now... I guess it is because I CANT play it.Lukasoss wrote:Even though I posted what RAWSwampFox said before, and it did in fact work, now I'm still having the same issue.
