Win10, Game will not start

Hi, just trying to get back on PR after a few years.
I've tried a few times and been trying the solutions given here in other threads but can't seem to get this to work.
When opening the launcher, I have the screen go black and then it says closing pr cleaning resources.
When opening from the prbf2.exe directly, the screen goes black for a second and then the game is gone with no cleaning resources pop up.
Here the copy paste of Support:

Your offline profile has the wrong resolution try 1360 not 1366.

Navigate to PR and mumble.exe's
C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\mods\pr
Rightclick on them and run as admin.

Are you using any USB sound devices?

Have you updated/installed DirectX, .net and C++?

Please make profiles folders read only and check it's presence.

Try with onedrive deactivated

Run in windowed mode to see if any fault code comes up

Failing all that type dxdiag in and post sniptools.

How do I deactivate onedrive?
I have tried admin, changing resolutions, no USB.
What is dxdiag?
Thankyou for the help :)

Yeah my folder in documents is set to read only,
Here is the error I get when running in windowed:

Debug assertion failed!
Version 1.5.3153-802.0 Build date:
Module: RendDX9
File:
C:\dice\Projects\BF2Branches\Patch_1_50\Code\BF2\RendDX9\VideoO
ptions.cpp
Line 234
Text: Unknown Dynamic Option value 800x600
Current confile:

I have seen a lot of posts where they are having an issue similar or the same as this but no solutions yet :/
Also I have never had bf2 on this computer, and I updated all of the files it says are required in the thread of installation guide.
Again thank you for your help I appreciate it

I would concentrate on a DirectX problem, PR uses DX 9 but I assume newer versions have full backwards compatibility. Can you try an offline Directx 9 installer as I think w10 won't let them run otherwise - thinking that a very old version like 9 isn't needed.

I would even try switching off the internet to make sure MS let it install if it doesn't work
