Slow Loading, once ingame screen freezes a lot.

I had this problem long ago, and a reinstallation fixed it.

I had it again about a week ago, and I reinstalled it again, but it didn't fix it this time.
I removed AVG, and i'm using PandaCloudAV, I added Battlefield2, ProjectReality, and PRInstallation folders to the exclusion list(hopefully that rules it out for AV's).

I then ruled out punkbuster by going into PR's console and typing mb500 and mb_config, something along those lines, I know I wrote a typo.

Anyways, I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, and I know someone is probably gonna want my pcspecs but unfortunatly, my PR ability is extremely higher than that of my PC ability, and i'm not sure how to show them(woops, don't do troubleshooting a lot.)

Also, i've defragged my OS to 0% fragmentation.

The lagspikes(screenfreezes) last anywhere from 1-20(sometimes even more) seconds, and my ping is usually at 30-40, even during the screenfreeze.

Well, thanks, hopefully you can help me!(been spending all of my free time searching for a fix, can't find one.)

Sounds to me your CPU isn't fully running the game.

To find your specs, download and install this ---> https://www.hwinfo.com/files/hw64_534.exe

When you start it up, check the 'sensors only' box and let it load up (can take about 30 seconds)

The first line titled 'Sensor' should display Motherboard. Not necessary, but helpful to know.

The second group, first line should say CPU #0. Just the name after '#0' will suffice.

Scroll down about 2/3rds and you'll see a line titled GPU #0 and its name, present that as well.

Keep Hwinfo running after you reply, I'll try to walk you through some testing procedures to see where the fault is.

I checked'd sensors only, but it came up with an error shortly after, stating about my DELL EC embedded controller, not exactly sure what it wants me to do.
(either can continue for hwinfo to continue reading the snsor, which it says might hurt my OS, or i can disable it(the sensor.))

edit: i also remember someone fixing this problem by wiping/reinstalling their OS, apparently it was the OS's fault for their issues(although they couldn't pinpoint it, wiping/reinstalling fixed the issue.
Do you reccomend this?

In the many years I have done computer work, a complete Nuke (OS install) has solved many problems. That being said, it's obvious to say you should backup any files, documents, pictures etc. before reinstalling. Its not a guaranteed fix, but if you can get past the inconvenience of having to move and install everything again, it could help.

It also appears you're using a laptop from what the error you're quoting from Hwinfo. DELL EC is a sensor for your fan control.

IF it is a laptop, I am curious to ask; Does it get really hot, almost overheats?

Unfortunatly no, it's not a laptop :(

I recently tried some other fixes(tried to set higher priority on task manager, but access denied)
somehow though, I played yesterday with no problems.

I recall that I didn't alt-tab(atleast i don't remember) and this might be a really dumb, but actual problem.

Some games do not allow alt+tab functionality, some computers cant handle it. Varies each time. I do, however, have my PR set up via steam so if I need to alt+tab (usually to go on firefox and look something up midgame) I can just shift+tab and use the browser without minimizing the game.

If you dont know how to do that, you go to steam -> Library and on the bottom left is 'add game to steam'. Add a non-steam game and either select from the list or search for the game via the browse option.

Yeah, but it closes(for steam) everytime I leave the launcher, and I can't find a shortcut.
Anyways, the problems fixed but I don't have a doubt that it'll be back later, still can't locate what the issue is, though.
