mumble partially working

I'm having some odd problems with mumble starting three days ago.

I see speaker icons in the bottom-right when I push my push-to-talk key for local and squad. According to other players, they can hear me fine. I do not see the grayed-out speaker with the red X.

I cannot hear anyone at all via mumble. The names (while people are speaking) never appear in the bottom-left.

This is what I've tried:

- run PR and PRmumble as administrator
- run pr mumble in compatibility mode
- restart mumble
- restart my pc
- change mumble settings to 'force TCP' (I think that's what it's called)
- change mumble settings to uncheck 'Quality of Service'

The problem persists in any server, co-op or deployment.

So, it's not a device problem. I can hear my microphone when testing and so can other players
It's not a volume problem because the names of other players never appear as if they are speaking.

I'm helpless. PR is the only game I play haha. Now I have to do things like laundry and dishes with my free time. It's horrible. Anyone have any helpful ideas?

Althought I don't know the issue, you can try messing with the numpad + and - keys as those adjust mumble audio, there was a time when I thought my PR was bugged(For like two weeks) until I realised that at sometime before I had accidentally muted my mumble by turning it's volume all the way down.

I went to test this and it said "couldn't connect to server: couldn't verify client files". I restarted and thankfully it worked. I hit + and... it worked. I even thought I had tried that before. I'm such an idiot. I would have thought the names of whomever was speaking would still display. Still a moron though.

Thanks.

No problem, it pissed me off when I had it too.
And some other minor bugs that you might encounter:

If mumble fails to work(bottom right gray speaker with red slash) close mumble at the bottom right dropdown arrow of windows.

If mumble fails to work after that, make sure that you launch mumble from the launcher each time you play PR, before actually starting PR.
