Set CAS marker with binocs

The officers for falklands and vietnam - I want them to be able to set down CAS map marker with their binoculars. Doesn't matter if it's specific like CANNON or just in general like "MARKING TARGET". I'm totally fine with officers not being able to laze in falklands but I don't see the reason why they couldn't set markers like regular officers.

vietnam:

I'm not even sure if this might even be a bug? Since on vietnam maps, the officer cannot even call in mortar markers.

Thoughts?

No, binocs cant laze. you will just get shitlords putting laze markers where theres no lazes, causing cas to die to retarded shit.

You can use the radio to put down a map marker if that's what you mean?

This also smells like a suggestion outside of the suggestions forum?

Not by an officer right? I'm not 100% sure what you mean.

Yea, but not with the binocs.

Yes. I'm really not sure where this belongs since I don't know what the devs intend here. Is it a bug?

If the binocs cannot laze targets, then they shouldn't be able to place laze marks where lazes will not be.

An ingame remody for this is using the radio, right click and then call in for CAS support.
Most pilots will reach you on comms when they are avaliable, then you can designate a target.(smoke, killzone, etc)
