[Map] Aleppo Prison (2km) [WIP]

Name: Aleppo Prison
Location: Aleppo central prison (north outskirts)
Size: 2km
Factions: MEC vs. Syrian Rebels (or Militia as chechens fighters)
GamePlay Type: Infantry with light, medium and heavy vehicles support

Some work I started for now(terrain):

Screenshot from Google maps was put on level terrain to simplify building terrain and statics
There will be another textures after terrain work will done

There may be need prison model because of speciefic shape but for now I think I can replace it with another statics.

In 2014 Feb there was large scale battles for central Aleppo prison taken by Syrian gov forces. An Nusra forces took some attempts to assault prison but prison remained to SAA.
I use some videos to replay battles for prison and enviroment objects and terrain inside game but I can't post it because of too much alllah akbar shouts concentration(lul)

Interesting concept but a bit lacking atm. I am interested though.

looks promising, but i have one suggestion (more like an opinion). why dont you use militia as SAA place holder . they both use almost the same weapons (yes SAA use mosin nagant ) and it would also be interesting militia vs fsa (militia)
it would be better than SAA with G3s . anyway , im keeping an eye on this.

I agree with you. Sometimes SAA looks even more poor than oppositon forces. That will be more realistic if I will use Militia(renamed to chechen fighters or FSA) vs Syrian Rebels(renamed to SAA)

Factions is GPO work and being done in last stages of map.
Opfor vs opfor factions had some problems in past working with each other and should be extensively tested(internet dedicated) before playtests.

I love this kind of maps which is based on real world. in fact I like PR just because of this maps.
good job. please make the map exactly like the real world that is shown in the top view map.
and is it really hard to replace for example ak-47 with G3 in this map and Sbeneh outskirts?! it is somehow unreal when you see SAA soldiers have G3 instead of AK.

Mineral is making the SAA and they are intended to replace the MEC on Sbeneh.

That's pretty confusing to me. :P Instead of making FSA be FSA, you make them to be an eastern-european militia and you turn SAA into FSA (the other way around actually xD)??? I'm pretty sure that Syrious did not have that in mind. He meant more something along these lines: Make a SAA placeholder by taking Militia (it's not purely CHECHEN, they are more like some random eastern-europe made up militia force), you change their flags, and you change their voices to Arabic, and presto! You got a SAA placeholder. And for FSA you use the faction that is already in the game :P (better that then to have SAA use FSA models and everything...). That is my opinion.
