Need help with a link from patch 1.3.9 to 1.4.0. If no link is available I could use some guidance in another form.

uninstall Project reality 1.3.9 the patch you want is not avalaible
If you have already installed PR:BF2 v1.3.9 or a previous release, uninstall PR:BF2 and visit the downloads page to download the standalone v1.4.1 installer.
download 1.4.1 and update online using PRoject Reality up to 1.4.4
