I'm getting the same but for a different file, right after this: Image

And when the installer says that it will connect to the internet to verify latest version, it said "unable to get the latest version information for this installed".

I thought that the whole thing was corrupt, so I downloaded the whole thing like 3 times, everytime the same thing.

Any ideas?

I used utorrent to download. I'll try using the qbittorrent that is recommended and see if that fixes it because some files are apparently corrupt after download. I'll post here again when I do.

EDIT: Ok, so I used bittorrent and it downloaded and installed the game just fine and updated fine. So I guess it was an issue with utorrent. Now there is a different issue, is that game crashes right after launch and says: 'PR:BF2 has closed, cleaning up resources'. I ran in windowed mode, it launched, tried to connect to a server and once it loaded, crashed again with a debug error. Also PRmumble crashes everytime I launch it.

So from reading further into the topics in this thread it seems that Windows 10 people are getting the shaft left and right with multiple issues everywhere. Screens to those issues have already been posted in this section from other Win 10 users, so no point in posting them again. I guess I'll wait until whenever it is fixed. Was really hoping to play, was feeling nostalgic. :(

Another EDIT
: So I kept playing with it and finally fixed everything. Solutions to the latest issues mentioned above are here:

My last post there. :)
I hope this helps some Win 10 peeps. Good luck.
