sound bug - I can hear everyone talking on local

I just switched to some new head sets (Skull Candy HESH 2) connecting via bluetooth.
The problem is that I can hear EVERYONE talking on local, no matter where they are located on the map. I can't talk back to them though. It would be kind of cool if I could hear the other side, but I think it's only the side that I am on. It's really distracting.
Has anyone ever run across this problem? Any suggestions on how I can fix it?
I tried my old headphones, and they still work as they should, but my son will be home from college soon , so he will be using my old set.

I have this exact same issue when using my Bose wireless headset. I believe it has to do with the output settings in Mumble somewhere - the issue disappears when plugging my headset in via the jack (but then my mic doesn't work...)
If a solution is found, please let us know

brezmans, does the jack have 3 or 2 plastics 'rings' on the metal tip?

It's only for stereo and no mic, I do understand that
My point is that when it's plugged in, the audio is fixed. When it's connected via bluetooth, the audio is broken and I can hear everyone on local. Has to be a setting somewhere but can't find it.

Manage your audio devices! When you disconnect the jack and reconnect via bluetooth, your Windows Audio management is getting out of whack. This is because many bluetooth devices are communication devices (the name is, or at least was, synonymous with wireless cell phone mic and speakers), and Windows is assuming this is the case. I've not found a bluetooth headset with a mic that actually works as an independent mic over bluetooth in a Windows environment. AFAIK It's one or the other: mic or speakers.
If you are making this change while Mumble and/or PR is running, you will likely need to restart one or both of those programs for them to register the change. If you ARE changing before loading these programs, you need to go into Windows > Manage Audio Devices and change a few things.
One would be to set the bluetooth headset as the default audio device (possibly every time you switch between wired and bluetooth wireless), and you may also want to stop programs from taking exclusive control over the device (see options on the last tab at the top of a Device Properties)
Final note: I do what you are discussing all the time, I have several headsets both wired, USB, and wireless (2.4GHz and bluetooth). I stopped pulling my hair out after I got
VoiceMeeter (Pro) Banana -- it's basically a mixer console where I can set Windows Audio to go to one channel, and mic on another, and output to at least 3 different audio sources simultaneously or individually. So when I turn on a bluetooth headset, I just add it as an output source with the push of a button, and it's swapped. eazy peazy.
