Trouble with manual updater

Hey all, could use a hand figuring out what im missing with the manual updater. I'm not sure which folder specifically I should be looking for. I've tried the general PR folder as well as all of its subfolders. I just get "cannot find root directory." I'm probably missing something pretty obvious here but I havent tried to manually update something in this manner for quite some time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

get manual patches up to 1.46 here to download
if have a fresh installation (1.41) you need to download all patches and install them;
current latest patch is 1.47
Close the Support window, and open OPTIONS -> Global. Check "Keep Update Files". This will save you needing to re-download updates if they downloaded successfully, at the cost of hard drive space. Additionally, take note of the "Update Download Location", as this is where you will be downloading updates to. This location can be changed, so if you need to change it, then be sure to press "Apply" to save the new download location.
i believe 1.47 is at the moment only online per update function available
