So i recently upgraded my rig and played this game just fine (cpu is an i5 6500, gpu a gtx 1050 ti, and 8 gb of ram).

And more recently i changed my crappy 150 kbps internet to another one of 2.6 mbps, and it's AMAZING how it plays on all games.

Except that here, ever since i got the new modem that allows the connection, it says that i have to check my internet connection everytime i try to join a server

Already tried the solutions in here: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... fixed.html

Still doesn't fix the problem.

Anyone have a clue on what to do now, please?; I played just fine with the old internet.

It's really not enough information.

Just mumble/rest of the Internet continue working when this happens?
Have you tried turning off the firewall in the router?

Wait, Do you get an error when you try to join? Or do you get kicked after seeing "Problem with your connection".
What "ping" does it show to the servers? Does it show "2500" or something reasonable? Are your UDP port 16567 accessible?

Rest of the internet is completely fine; I can access any multiplayer game

Ping is actually pretty good on some servers, now it hits 170, or if it's normal ping it's 240 (like i had it before)

I don't know about the UDP port, but like i said, it used to work perfectly before i had my new internet.

Do you get the error after you've already joined the server and playing or while trying to join?

No, it doesn't even reach that far; As soon as i hit connect, it says "Failed to connect, check your connection"

I see your connection attempts and your client is acting like its not receiving my replies.
Problem is on your end. Call your ISP.

It's weird tho, because literally every other multiplayer game works fine (killing floor 2, half life 1 and it's mods, killing floor 1, all serious sam games, etc)

PS: Does reinstalling the game might work properly, given that i've completely changed the internet?

Punkbuster hasnt been used in 4 years. You can uninstall it.
Try again, I had to restart the server for other reasons. Didn't catch any of your attempts.

Something is blocking the game for you.

Have you tried disabling your anti-virus or (Windows) firewall? Just to see if that helps anything.

I have no firewall on and no anti-virus

Your router might have one.
Call your ISP and complain.

They say the IP is just closed down or something, they don't know.

The internet is great but for some reason Project Reality IP's have a problem

This is really starting to piss me off tbh...

Also my router is just a regular one for optic fiber, it doesn't have any firewalls or any of that.

The IP I gave you was temporary, its offline.

Regular ones all come with firewall enabled by default and I've seen countless of people screwed by it.
Post which type. Ask tech support about it.
