SOLVED: Just ran PRBF2.exe and let it boot up. Closed it, ran the launcher, it worked.

Had v1.4.0.0, Manually Updated, Now Error 8
Have had PR for ages and had v1.4.0.0 installed. Manually updated to v1.4.1.0, pointed to the correct folder automatically, and it patched fine. Then, I tried opening the PR Launcher only to have it throw an error 8, unable to find the root BF2 directory. I'm already redownloading PR but it was a huge pain in the *** to realize I had to redownload.
SOLVED: Just ran PRBF2.exe and let it boot up. Closed it, ran the launcher, it worked.
