I can hear everybody that speaks on local making mumble unusable for me. I have tried using alon's prmumble file, my friends' mumble files and nothing has worked. I also have reinstalled PR.
The problem started occurring when the new mumble version was implemented and has persisted even after the reversion to the original, "working" mumble version.
So I'm out of ideas, if you know what could be wrong please post it in this thread.

Remove mumble settings registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Project Reality\PR Mumble
Remove the settings in appdata (delete):
%appdata%\Project Reality\Project Reality Mumble
We're back on the old version for now.

Edit: I deleted the wrong registry, now that I deleted the right one mumble works fine.
