UPDATE TO 1.4.18 KEEPS CRASHING

Update to 1.4.18 crashes at around the 38% mark (/level/black_gold) I've tried re-installing the game but it's still crashing. Please help. Thanks!

get all updates manually if it does not work using project reality launcher

Every time I open the launcher though it goes straight to updating. So I have to uninstall the game and manually update from the very beginning?
UPDATE:
I've tried uninstalling and manually updating the game from the very beginning. It was going smoothly until I've encountered error 57 which I have solved before but the fix I did has no effect now.
I followed these instructions before and it worked
