Hello,

I am a veteran of PR with over +5 years of play experience. I decided to try and create the LAF faction, so I am inviting all lithuanians, who have the skills to write me a PM, also non-lithuanians are welcome to the team, if they have interest and skills to create the LAF for PR.

I am going to shortly introduce you to the lithuanian army and it's weaponry, and I promise to add more information and pictures later on.

The lithuanian land forces go into two branches, the regular land force (regulars) and the NDVF (abbreviation for National Defence Volunteer Forces), or simply put (the national guard). We will try to create the regular force first, but if we succeed, we will be motivated to add the NDVF also.

AFV/IFV BOXER (lithuanian variant nickanamed "Vilkas" [Wolf]) made with custom modifications for the LAF. All of the ordered vehicles will arrive in 5 years. Here you see the test of the lithuanian BOXER modification in Germany.

Oshkosh is only the name of the manufacturer, that is the M-ATV, used also by US forces.

The more the merrier...

What you will be asked are maps. No maps, no PR for your faction. IIRC, you can reuse some existing ones, but at least you should create 2 original maps.

Waste of time.
LAF could only fight Russian military.
Right now in game every 2nd map has Russia on it.This will make it too much.
But sure, this could work

We need more REDFOR factions, yeah. UAF would be a nice thing... well, maybe someday.

I have some ideas in mind

Having some in mind is easy, getting someone to do this and actually finish it is the hard part.

It's not a waste of time, and Russia is not the only adversary for a potential LAF faction. The LAF could fight the militia, Taliban, Insurgents and even the ARF forces. Why ARF you ask? Lithuanian soldiers are right now serving together with french soldiers in Mali.

Speaking about maps, I would try and make two interesting maps. The first one would be based on the Suwalki Gap, and the other would be the lithuanian port city of Klaip?da.

The Suwalki Gap (In case of a real conflict, Russia and Belarus might cut it off, thus cutting off and slowing down NATO reinforcements, and winning Russia and Belarus some time)

Now that's interesting, a Suwalki map could work both for Polish and Lithuania.

I have good news guys, we have a potential new texturer joining our faction development team, anyone who has the skills are also welcome, and please write me a PM, if you're interested.

I have good news once again guys, our team is growing, we have a modeller joining us. Now our team is 3 people, including myself.

Well we have some newer helicopters aswell.

I think i have unfinished Unimog somewhere in my external drives. Have photo of it here.


If i find it, u can have it and finish it.
