Does it crash when launching, during gameplay or what happens?

If you don't get an error message, try running the game in windowed mode.

As suggested by Rotblut you might want to share your computer hardware specifications.

Same problem, loads the game, I mane it to skip the starting video, after skipped video the game crashes instantly, no matter what resolution I have, except it doesn't crash in windowed mode, but I'm not up for playing like that on this low spec laptop.

Maybe a update will help.

Thank you, it helped the way of chaming video graphics to Intel HD 3000, before that I was on GT 550, so I'm back in the game now. Resolution wasn't helping btw.

I'd try disabling Intro Movies, clearing the Shader Cache, and using Disk Cleanup to delete any DirectX Shader Cache data... do that and report back if it doesn't fix it (also, update to 1.7.4.1)
